80’s, 85% humidity (Country Ham/Early Riser weather according to Quaker)

Arrived at the AO just in time to set up some cones in the big parking lot for the beatdown to come. I moved my truck over to the side lot and was pleasantly surprised to see two shovel flags and the iron flag already in the ground as I added the Village flag to the mix (You can never have too many right?). Bunch of PAX were already waiting on me as I was busy setting up in the other lot and were ready to get going.

SSH x 36 IC (Some of the PAX remembered that it was indeed my birthday today), 10 Burpees OYO (They already knew where this was headed), IW x 20 IC, 10 Burpees OYO, LBAC x 18 IC, LBAC IR x 18 IC, 10 Burpees OYO (I think it was around this time that SADE thanked the lord that I wasn’t turning 80 today), TTT x 20 IC, Windmill x 20 IC, 6 Burpees OYO (36 total), Indian Run around the AO to end up at the coupon pile

The THANG – 
Elevens: Haven’t had anybody do this in a while, so let’s spice it up

  • Thrusters with the block, JUMP THE FENCE, and merkins on the other side
  • Modifiers were offered for injury and also for shortness for Headgear/ERC (but those beasts didn’t need anything)
  • Also most of us still have no idea if Sade really knows how to do Elevens or not… he will probably need to Q more so we can find out

After everybody finished up we moseyed to the big lot

36 –

Basically this was going to be a shortened version of the #BEAST with just 3 rounds, but then we had some mumble chatter. I had set up 3 cones approx. 25 yards apart, 6 reps at each station, and then 6 reps at each station working back to the finish.

Round 1 – Squats (it was about halfway down that Spork was questioning why we even brought the blocks over here)

Round 2 – Tricep Extensions for Spork

Round 3 – Blockees for Spork (this one was tough, so we did the 3 cones on the way down and then sprinted back with the block to finish)

Round 4 – BBSU (Bonus Round)

Round 5 – Curls (Extra Bonus Round, since this is what Spork really wanted to do)

Take the coupons back to the pile and line up on the side lot.
