The Thang:

AO: Warthog

Conditions: 72 Cloudy with a slight breeze and a little damp.  Feeling cool and a nice break from the hot humid weather.

YHC spends some of his free time scouring the internet and social media pages looking for new workouts for his fellow PAX and he isn’t afraid to steal something he likes.  When searching for burpee workouts recently, he found something interesting and then happened to see a group of people doing the burpee to broad jump in the gloom at Doug Shaw stadium earlier this week!  That’s it…if they can do it, so can we.  Now to find a way to incorporate that into a #Warthog beatdown.  YHC is also attempting to include more pull-ups and stretching into the beatdowns.  As he was up late the night before working out his beatdown, it seemed to come together.  He rolled up to the AO at 0520 to see Karma in the parking lot.  Set up the shovel flag and now ready to go as the other PAX started rolling in.

Prayer Requests: Keep Geno’s Dad in your prayers and pray for Scuba Steve at he takes the podium for the first time to preach at Belin Memorial United Methodist Church for the Harbor Worship services at 8:45AM and 11:00AM this Sunday.

Moleskin:

We got a good workout in with some good mumble chatter.  YHC sees improvement across the PAX and would like all PAX to be aware of their bodies and take care of injuries, practice proper form and movement so as to prevent future injury and rest when needed but don’t fartsack just because it was the easy way to go.   We all need to take care of ourselves so we can keep coming out to post, lead and follow the example of Papa Smurf and our other RESPECT Brethren.  You all push me to be better every day and I feel the improvement across all aspects of my life.  Thank you for the opportunity to lead!  It’s always an honor!
