Bring the Pai… RAIN?
Workout Date:
07/05/2019
QIC:
Texas Ranger
PAX:
FNG David (Rainman) and Texas Ranger (QIC)
The Thang:
AO: The Village
Conditions: Rain… lots of rain and humidity
YHC woke up before my alarm to the sounds of booming explosions and brilliant flashes of light and was instantly annoyed by whatever neighbor was still shooting off fireworks at 4am. Looked out the window and saw that it was… the sky Q… tons of thunder and lightning and lots of RAIN. Checked the radar and saw that it was going to be a wet morning, so I put out a tweet at around quarter to 5 to try and sway any PAX that might be up to come out to the Village because I was going to be there for sure #RainOrShine. Sadly no takers, but I knew that I would have at least one show up, an FNG at that. My brother-in-law is in town for a few weeks and I’ve been EHing him for a while to come check out F3 and since he’s staying in my house, it was an easy sell.
We rolled into the AO at around 5:05 and waited in the truck to see if any PAX would roll in late. With the holiday and the weather I wasn’t surprised that it was just us, so we moseyed to the awning to get started.

Wasnt sure of the protocol of naming a FNG when there’s just two of you, but he did the entire workout and I figured he earned it. Since I knew his background (math major in college) and the conditions for today, “Rainman” seemed pretty appropriate. He’ll be here for a few weeks so I’m sure a lot of you guys will see him at some future beatdowns!

Moleskin: Great push and effort by Rainman and it was an honor to lead!
