AO – BombSquad

Conditions: 56 Degrees, dry, perfect

YHC couldn’t ask for a more perfect day or way to start his birthday. The temperature as of late has been all over the the place, one day spring-like; the next dipping into the 30’s! All the the weather has been a roller-coaster the PAX have been strong with consistent numbers in the double digits. YHC did very little pre-beatdown PR and I was curious to see who would come come out for my birthday celebration. Before even leaving Plantation Lakes, YHC spotted Sunshine & Buffett pre-running towards the AO.  YHC pulled directly into large parking lot of the AO and set out his only prop for today’s event. . .a double deck of miss matched cards (“The Monster Deck”) which most PAX believed are all face cards! #IllNeverTell! Then YHC proceeded to the Shovel Flag Parking Lot to find Goldberg rocking out in his O.J. Mobile. (most likely to Pearl Jam). Goldberg is a true HIM and YHC was excited that he was able to make the treacherous trip across the waterway from F3Republic to join our merry band of man. Rocky Top  arrived shortly after and then rest of the PAX began lining up on Carolina Forest Blvd to entering the AO. Grunge DR from F3Chatham came rolling in for day two of his GrandStrand Experience Tour. Has it really been 2 years since his last visit?? Hard to believe but time flies when your havin’ fun! So this Beatdown would probably be over in a wink of an eye!!

Now that the PAX were thoroughly warmed up and stretched out it was time for the main event!

The THANG: Blast from the Past

The PAX circled up. YHC gave the PAX a choice, “Would you like the easy or the hard beatdown to start?” Not suprisingly all PAX chimed in that they wanted the harder beatdown and so it was!

YHC had 25 -30 trivia questions concerning the year of YHC’s birth 1970. If a PAX answered correctly, he would call out an exercise for everyone to do on his lead . . . if, however, the PAX answered incorrectly, the all PAX would do 5 Burpees!!!
