Checking the weather before hitting the fartsack last night, YHC figured there may be a light showing at Doug Shaw this morning. 60 degrees with a 70% chance of rain at 0500. But, as all F3GrandStrand PAX should know: a. rain or shine and b. those early morning rain forecasts almost always back up a couple of hours. As I went to sleep I started formulating a new workout in the event numbers were low and put the finishing touches on it as I pulled into the parking lot at 0510. Candy Cane was wrapping up his solo prerun, Rocky Top was locking up his bike, and War Eagle came in at the 1 minute warning. Disclaimer was given and we got to work.

Make our way to the bleachers while YHC gives a short PSA on the #CHAD1000X coming up on Saturday. 1000 step ups in honor of Navy SEAL Chad Wilkinson.
At the bleachers we did 40 step ups (20 each leg) followed by a trip to the top and back down.
Repeat 4 times for a total of 160 step ups. Around the 3rd trip Candy Cane realized that Rocky Top was not in fact smoking us all, but was just counting wrong and while the rest of us finished our 4 rounds, CC got in 5.
Up next, block work on the field. Each PAX grabbed a block and lined up on the goal line.
10 Merkins, Murder Bunny to the 10 yard line, then run to the 50 yard line and back to the goal line.
10 Merkins, run to your block, Murder Bunny to the 20 yard line, run to the 50 and back to the goal line.
Continue this until the block is on the 50 yard line. For the final trip, overhead carry the block back to the goal line.
10 Curls, overhead carry block to 10 yard line, run to 50 yard line and back to goal line
Run to block, 10 curls, overhead carry 10 yards, run to the 50 and back to the goal line.
Continue until the block is on the 50 yard line. For the final trip, overhead carry the block back to the goal line.
20 LBCs, Farmer Carry block 20 yards, run back to the goal line
20 LBCs, run to block, farmer carry 20 yards, run back to goal line
Continue until block reaches the far goal line. Farmer carry block back 100 yards.
With 5 minutes left, we had time to smoke the shoulders a little more, so with blocks in hand, we headed back to the bleachers.
10 overhead presses, overhead carry block to the top (remember the disclaimer! can’t sue me!), 10 more overhead presses, overhead carry back down, 10 more overhead presses at the bottom.
Return the blocks and time called!
