Double Digits Again!

Double Digits Again!

Workout Date:

05/21/2019

QIC:

Rousey

PAX:

Texas Ranger, Lugnut, Kiwi (1xR), Pikachu, O'Douls, Rocky Top, Penlope, Flop (Co-AOQ), and Tinker (FNG)

The Thang:

Conditions: Low 80s, no rain, with a small dose of SC humidity.

YHC/QIC typically blocks out Tuesdays to Q at the Catapult (CP). However, a “mystery Q” that came out of nowhere indicated that they might possibly take the Q this morning. YHC still planned on posting as he enjoys the comradery of this group of guys who might be out of shape, little banged up, or new to an outdoor early morning boot camp and need a lighter pace. Well, I guess even the most clandestine of Qs have scheduling conflicts, so it was back to YHC at the helm!

10 was the number of #HIM who circled up at the 1-minute warning. Welcome to F3, mission and disclaimer.

Warm Up:
IC 15 – 20 reps. of: SSHs, TTTs, IWs, LBAC (CCW & CW), and tempo squats. IC 22 Merkins.

SEGMENT 1: 1st set of 11s

Pax moseyed on over to the large church parking lot and on the way stopped by the #coupon pile and grabbed 1 paver stone each. 1st set of 11s did not require the coupon. Pax did 1 Merkin, Alternating Shoulder Tap or an equivalent modifier then ran across the parking lot and did 10 LBCs, Heels 2 Heaven or an equivalent modifier with total exercise reps. at 11. Then run back and do 9, run, 2, 8 and 3, and so on until the specific exercise numbers flipped. Everyone put in solid work; Pax who finished early held plank until all were done with this segment. We start together and finish together!

SEGMENT 2: 2nd set of 11s

Same 11 concept. This time Pax (using the coupon) did 1 Curl, then jumped/climbed the outfield fence, and then did 10 Jump Squats. QIC emphasized that jumping the fence was optional, but to my surprise most of the Pax negotiated the fence with no problem. Over the fence again. Then Pax did 9 Curls, fence, then 2 Jump Squats, 8 and 3, and so on. This generated most of the #mumblechatter of the morning and was a #crowdpleaser especially when Pikachu didn’t crush the fence on his vault!

SEGMENT 3: Flutterkicks Until QIC said stop.

YHC always pushing these guys to go past their perceived limits; we did 50 4-ct. IC! As expected not a #crowdpleaser.

QIC then took the remaining 8 or so minutes to lead Pax through mobility and stretching exercises.

Time!

Announcements: Check out F3 Grandstrand regional website, Slack messages and Twitter posts for daily updates and information.  Ample 1st F workouts across the Grandstrand, lots of 2nd F (lunches, outings and HHs) and 3rd F (Q-Source) opportunities.

NMMS: Great job today especially on the fence jumps/climbs! As Flop (Co-AOQ) indicated, there have been double digits of Pax posting at this active AO for the past few weeks! #ABH for #Sadclowns who would fit in into this FNG-Kotter-IR friendly AO!  Great and inspirational to see guys who are working through different ailments or seasons of life to continue to post despite their situation with the goal of getting better regardless!

NMMS2: Will this mystery Q make it next week…is this part of a deep state conspiracy?

Aye!
