So there was a “Visiting Q” or was it a “Mystery Q” on the Q sheet for today’s installment of BobmSquad. His name was “Jerry Bear”. Sounds legit. YHC didn’t want to disappoint a visiting PAX, especially someone who steps up to Q, so I rolled out of bed and headed towards the AO with about 10 minutes to spare. When I arrived, Sunshine & Single Barrel were circled up (how exactly does 2 PAX create a circle??). YHC made his hellos and asked where the Q was. About this time, Spork rolled up and planted the Shovel Flag. Again I asked, “Where’s our Q, Jerry Bear?”

We looked at each other puzzled, then King Kong (aka Skidmark) entered the circle. As all the PAX discussed our missing Q, Rubber came into the fold. Well we had a strong crew, now all we needed was a leader!

At this time Spork spoke up and said that our Visiting Q, Jerry Bear, was an alias for Hamburglar. At first we all thought Spork was joking until he left the circle and grab his phone to call Hamburglar. Apparently Hamburglar thinks that some PAX avoid his intense beatdowns, YHC doesn’t know whatever gave him that idea, but sure it’s possible I guess. I just don’t think its probable.

When Spork re-entered the circle it was at the 1 minute warning and with no one at the helm, YHC stepped into the center and gave the 1 minute warning followed by the disclaimer “ Don’t hurt yourself & don’t hurt others”

This is what transpired when the clock struck 6:00 am . . .

Moleskin: Great Mumble Chatter this morning. Dead silence during the sprint portion! A few of the PAX half kiddingly wanted to forego the Q-less beatdown and go directly to breakfast. Not today! Things learned today: (1) Today is Jerry Garcia’s Birthday; (2)Hamburglar attended his 1st Greatful Dead Concert at age 4 with his parents! (3)Sunshine’s first CD &/or cassette purchased was Back in Black; (4) Hamburglar’s first music purchase was Alice Coopers Greatest Hits. (5) Country Ham always taste better after a solid beatdown!
