The Thang:

With threats of severe weather looming, 8 men braved the gloom. Flash, Bubbles, Weed Eater, Rain Bird, Billboard, Snips, Headgear and Spinal Tap on Q. Turns out, the weather was perfect.

Warm ups included escalating burpees 2,4,6,8,10 inbetween Imperial Walkers, Old Man Windmills, Little Baby Arm Circles, etc.

Today is cinder block day! Everyone grab a block and hold it overhead while marching toward the west parking lot where the flag was planted.

Four stations were pre-set in a circuit of abs, legs, arms and body. All pax start in the middle with 20 overhead press, then murder bunny to a corner station where they find instructions: 25 squats with block, 50 calf raises, 15 man makers, 25 block swings, 25 curls, 25 block presses, 40 big boys (cut down to 30 because of time), 10 American hammers with block.

At the end, pax are rewarded with a bonus round of 10 additional man makers plus lifting the block overhead.

Farmer carry blocks back to AO and end with COT. Word of wisdom shared with the group: be careful of the story that you’re telling yourself about your life. Only listen to what is true.
