Muscle Memory

YHC rolled into Warthog at 5:05 to discover Fergie mentally preparing for the ensuing  beatdown. We gave each other a head nod as I pulled along side his white jeep. Temperatures were in the low 40’s & somewhat damp.  Each of us remained toasty in our trucks for another 5 minutes before stepping out into the Gloom to officially say hello.

 As we stepped out, Squirt pulled in to the lot. Then came Strikeout, who strategically parked near the entrance so he wouldn’t get swallowed up by a sinkhole in the parking lot or maybe in case he needs to make a quick get-away. The final Pax to arrive was Manziel fresh off his 20 Mile Trail Run & 98^th 5k. He was looking spry & motivated the rest of us to get 1% better!

YHC almost forgot how much variety exists at the Mothership! This AO has it all!! If its been a while since you paid a visit to Warthog or you want to spice up your routine, get up with Fergie and take a coveted spot on the Q sheet. You won’t regret it!

As William Parrish (aka “The Refrigerator”) once quiped on a visit to Warthog from parts unknown, [To understand what Warthog is all about you would have to] “Multiply it by infinity, and take it to the depth of forever, and you will still have barely a glimpse of what I’m talking about.”

Mosey to the Parking Garage

Keep on Truckin’

We entered the Parking Garage and lined up Shoulder to shoulder for some additional speed work. As we entered the Garage, a MB City Pick-up truck entered the parking garage too.  It was perfect timing.  After giving the City Truck a 20yd head start we sprinted & tried to catch the truck as it drove up each level of the garage.

We caught the truck on the 2^nd level . . . we then recovered and gave the truck another 15 yd head start

We sprinted & tried to catch the truck for a 2^nd time as it continued to ascend. At this point they were on to us and we were unable to reach it before it got to the top level and turned around.

We were smoked!! . . . 5 count recovery

Lunge Worthy

Lunge 25 yds from the corner of the garage to the wall . . . Lunge back to the start & turn the corner

Tin Soldier 70 yds and turn the corner . . . face the down ramp

Mosey to the next turn

Lunge Walk 40 yds

Toy Soldier 40 yds and turn the corner

Mosey 2 ramps then turn the corner and face the exit

Lunge Walk (25 yds) out of the Parking Garage

Mosey back to the Bridge . . . Bearcrawl ½ of the Bridge to the top.

Continue to Mosey along the walking path towards the Shovel Flag

Stop 40 yds before the Shovel Flag Parking Lot . . . Bearcrawl to the parking lot
