The Thang:

YHC planned a QSource beatdown for the Village Pax this morning, in an attempt to get the word out about the accelerating HIM who have been meeting in the Supergloom.  Pax began to roll in, one by one.  Kitten (Kotter), fresh off of his trip to Israel, showed up for a solo pre-run!  His strong work inspired the rest of us to give 110% throughout the next 45 minutes.  A collective “Ah – not yet…” was expressed as Beefsteak’s car pulled into the parking lot.  As he and his M patiently (very patiently) await the arrival of their baby, the men of the Village feel his pain.

We moseyed over to the coupon pile and selected 2 bricks each, then convened at the benches under the American Flags.  We proceeded with a QSource themed beatdown with each stop on the “Escalator” inspired by one of the 5 Foundations.  1 or 2 main points (QSource Spurs) were read at each stop along the way.  Merkins were sprinkled in to complete the daily challenge requirements as well.

Foundation 1 (F1) – Disruption – “Leaders influence movement to advantage.  Because it induces movement, leadership causes Disruption”

Foundation 4 (F4) – LDP (Leadership Development Process) – “Great Leaders develop new Leaders.”

Foundation 5 (F5) – Preparedness – “There are 4 quadrants of preparedness: Get Right, Live Right, Lead Right and Leave Right.”

After we reached the top of the escalator, it was clear that Kitten, El Red Cardo, Beefsteak & Brownbag were smoking us all on the running portions.  Strong push by those gents!  However, for the rest of our sake, we came down the escalator one stop at a time and cut out the run.
