The Thang:

Weather: 75 and Muggy!

On my way this morning I debated on what I wanted to throw down for these guys.  As i pull into the AO i see the usual Viagra and a DR pack and Cubby.  Luckily Burgundy (THE ORIGINAL) and some more DR pax pulled in just after i gave the 2 min warning.  So now i have 4 DR pax and i have decided that were going on a tour of the AO today..  Quick Disclaimer and lets go!!

Lets Mosey!  I immediately take the packs over to McLean Park for a quick warm up, apparently my slow is the new fast, but they made it.  We get on the Yoga Mat:

SSH x 20 IC, 5 Merkins OYO, IW x 20 IC, 5 Merkins OYO, Tempo Squat x 15 IC, 5 Merkins OYO, TTT x 15 IC, 5 Merkins OYO

Line up- Frankenstein’s 15 yds, Lunge Back, High Knees 15yds

At this point the idea fairy kicks in and its time to roll over to the Tennis Courts:

Agassi’s- Double Court- Burpees on lines increasing at each line.  I think this is one of the best heart rate increasers..  Try it out.  After this the pax needed a little breather so we did a “cool down” mosey around to the water fountain.

Partner UP-

Round 1: Partner A does Max set of Step ups while Partner B runs down to picnic area and completes 5 Derkins and runs back.  Switch out

Round 2: Partner A does Max set of Heel Lift Squats while Partner B runs down to picnic area and completes 5 Irkins and runs back. Switch out

Round 3: Partner A does Max set of Heals to Heaven while Partner B runs down to picnic area and completes 5 Dips and runs back. Switch out

Time for a 10 Count

It was here when i found out we still had 20 mins left!!  So much time for activities, so i wanted to keep the Pax Heart Rate up so we Indian Ran from McLean Park to the Vista Parking Deck.  Here i grab the men and let them know we’re going to move quick to the top.  If you havent been in the Vista Deck, there are 3 small ramps between each floor that create a 180 turn.. So i had the packs sprint the 1st ramp normal, 2nd ramp backwards and 3rd ramp normal, jog the flat.  We did this for 8 Stories… Once the 6 made it to the top we took the stairs down and Indian ran back to main street.  Once we hit the corner it was AYG all the way back to start.  6 got in with 30 sec’s left, we knocked out a quick stretch and TIME!

Really appreciate the effort everyone put out this morning.  Its always good at the end when everyone is smoked, but feel amazingly better for doing it.  Til next time!
