The Thang:

Conditions
And yes, 75 degrees a few days ago, 33 today.  Cold!

#Warthog time.  The original AO – the one that many other AO’s and even our sister region #TheRepublic, sprang out of!  Always with strong #mumblechatter and stronger work.  Over the past few weeks, Boxcar, in hyping things up as #TheVillage AOQ has casually tossed out the #BestInPlantationLakes Q between YHC and my Bromance Carpool buddy Bling.  Bling and I both truly appreciated the friendly challenge, and of course the fact that Boxcar knew who to throw said challenge out to.  I mean, after all, Sunshine, Quaker, Peterbilt (remember him?), Flyover, and several other strong #HIM live there too.  But Boxcar knows what’s what.  So there has certainly been some back and forth between Bling and YHC about who is truly the #BestInPlantationLakes.  That matter was once and for all settled today, and Bling humbly conceded the point and even offered to wash my feet in true servant fashion.  I’ll settle for a nice cup of coffee.

But on to more serious matters.  Like, where was Screamin’ Eagle???  Q dodging again.  Where was Weedeater?  I know you can’t read that without laughing.  After all, Mr. “I’m a HC, and then not show up” is legendary for his #fartsack status.  Where was Hamburglar?  Snips?   Valvano?  Corkscrew?  Studebaker?  The only PAX I know with a valid Thursday excuse is Hoser!

As the men circled up and greeted each other and just chatted about life, an unknown vehicle comes in on 2 wheels.  Who is that?!?!  NO WAY.  BOOM BOOM!  A legendary #Kotter status by this point.  GREAT to see him back in the gloom.  YHC knows some of the personal stuff he’s had preventing him posting as I have the pleasure of seeing him Sunday mornings at church, so I was very glad to see him back out.  As was Billboard, who at first seemed to simply want to give him a bear hug, but it turned into much much more, as some of us had to avert our eyes.

Mosey to Forbus – originally I wanted to use the field, but it’s wet and gross and covered in goose poop and 3/4 of the PAX are already hacking with the CarolinaCrud, so I kept us to dry and healthier ground

We would mosey back as a group
Rinse and repeat with squats (holding Al Gore on the 6), and then 2-count flutters (holding 6″ on the 6)

There was a lot of heavy breathing, hacking, spitting, complaining, etc.

Moleskin
– An absolutely great time in the cold this morning.  I doubt many of us would be outside at 0530 in 30 degree weather but for F3.  So I am very thankful for F3, and for each and every one of you men!
– I am suggesting a co-Q challenge for Flash and Headgear on a Saturday.  They are both ridiculous and will kill us all.
– I am then suggesting a co-Q challenge for Bubbles and Varsity as the “old man” version of the above-mentioned challenge!
– Bling, I still love your Q’s.  Especially the 300 CDD’s we always do.  Kinda like that 2016 Q from Jingles with 300 BBSU’s.  He promises to Q again in 2020.  (He sticks with the election years)
– Not an easy Q to come back to Boom Boom – GREAT work.  And especially strong and amazing work by EVERYONE picking up the 6 and encouraging!!!!  Billboard – keep your hands to yourself.
– Turn and Cough and Franklin were quiet today, but they worked hard and pushed!
– YHC was informed that Geno did a lot of laying around or sitting on his knees.  But he was there!
– AOQ Lombardi, as always, worked hard, along with Stewy who seems to step up his game with every beatdown!

Announcements
– #3rdF starting back up soon – look for information forthcoming from Vitamin D – Q source leadership development
– Fill out the Q sheets all over the place!
– Get with Hot Tub for a 12 man P200 team in March!  He needs HC’s!

Aye!
