The Thang:

Conditions: 73, cloudy and humid

I arrived at 0500 and was the first one there. 0502 the next truck came and it seemed like the headlights didn’t stop coming after that. The support was much appreciated for my VQ.

One minute warning was given, by my count we had 23 including YHC. F3 Misson was said (nailed it) and disclaimer given.

 

Warmup:

Held Position: Reviewed the 5 Core Principles of F3, PAX called on each other until all 5 given

LBACs (Reverse) x15 IC

Brief Announcements were given (thanks Pikachu)

Mosey to Cross, circle up and performed 2-count LBCs x15 IC

Mosey around baseball field by snack bar and over to coupon pile, PAX instructed to each get coupon. I brought some extras and may have donated a couple to the cause.

The Thang:

We partnered up, one person performed exercise, the other moseyed to palm trees and back. Switch positions. Wash, Rinse, Repeat. All were 3 rounds AMRAP style:

  1. Block Dips while partner moseyed out, Merkins as they returned.
  2. Half Block Curls (starting at 90 degrees) as partner moseyed out, full Block Curl as they returned.
  3. Block Squats as partner moseyed out, Overhead Presses as they returned.
  4. Bent Over Rows as partner moseyed out, Triceps Extensions as they returned.

We returned coupons. Some moseyed back. Pikachu and Candy Cane sprinted. YHC and some more sensible PAX less than moseyed.

 

Mary:

Circled back up at flag. The JBL Flip 4 was introduced and the #2 song on the UK Charts from 1997 was played. You guessed it, Tubthumping by Chumbawamba. PAX were instructed to perform any ab excercise until the refrain: “I Get Knocked Down, But I Get Up Again”. During the refrain we did Big Boy Situps, going down on ‘I Get Knocked Down’ and back up on ‘But I Get Up Again’. Good mumblechatter throughout.

I brought an FNG so he got in the circle and he spun some tales for us of the gold ole days. ‘Laces’ is what came out of it, so a big welcome to our new F3 brother: Laces!
