The Thang:

65ish, PERFECT

Believe it or not, I have only posted to a Warthog BC 5 times over the past year. And each time it was terrible. (but in a good way)

I remember every time… Handy Manny (2nd F3 post for me), One Call, Headgear, Convergence, and most recently Boxcar. There were aspects of each of their Qs that I distinctly remember and will almost certainly never forget. So that was my inspiration for today’s Q, to try to live up to those guys and make a memorable Q that would hopefully challenge the men that showed up.

1 Minute Warning

Quick intro and disclaimer given and we’re off!

Mosey to the bridge

The THANG –

Nearly every time I have posted at Warthog we have had to bear crawl over the bridge. I guess it must be one of those unwritten rules… so I didnt want to break protocol. But let’s modify it a little

20 Mountain Climbers (COUNT RL only)

Crawl bear to the middle

20 Squats

Bear Crawl to the end

20 Mountain Climbers (Count RL Only)/ Plank on the 6

The first time I posted to WH, Handy Manny had us to do some sprints/merkins on the field by the bridge. Yep.. that sucked… let’s do a version of that.

Handy Manny Sprints with a Burpee rest:

10 Burpees

25% sprint across the field

5 Burpees

50% sprint

5 Burpees

75% sprint

5 Burpees

90% sprint

5 Burpees

95% sprint

5 Burpees

Count off and lets do a sprint race to finish… It was about this time that I noticed that Porcupine was looking a little glassy eyed and wasnt looking great. We got him to sit down and take a quick breather to regain his composure. Luckily he just needed a couple of minutes (last thing I wanted was to kill a fellow PAX!).

We moseyed back to the group, Franklin being the #HIM that he is, sprinted back to his car to get some gatorade and water, so we planked and stretched until he got back giving Porcupine some extra recovery time. Time to continue on with the Q…

Boxcar loves to workout by the fountain so let’s go there

11’s – dips and step ups

Mosey to the parking garage

I had originally planned a couple of sets in the parking garage, but we were starting to run a little short on time, so I had to modify on the fly.

What does One Call love… easy… Bling, oh wait, I mean merkins!

20 merkins on each landing (5 wide, 5 reg, 5 diamond, 5 hand release) – 80 merkins total

Backpedal up the ramps (watch out for the speed bumps!)

Mosey down the stairs and plank on the 6.

Mosey to the flag

MARY – Only had time for 2 exercises

Crunchy Frogs x 15 IC

Count-O-Rama – 13

Announcements – Christmas Convergence in Conway on Dec 21.
Prayer requests – Backdraft’s M and their pregnancy, men that haven’t been out or are on IR

Warthog is such a great AO, with so many options. I didn’t even get a chance to do the things that Headgear made us do that I hate. I guess I will have to just sign up to Q again… maybe on a Saturday though so I can get that extra 15 min. Great push by Porcupine today during his second F3 post! Got a little light headed for a second, but he pushed through it and finished the workout! Look forward to seeing you out more.

Always an honor to lead!
