Took over the Q from Humpback last evening and immediately began crafting a Weinke. It was BIG Monday (The last BIG Monday of February) and YHC didn’t want to disappoint the PAX with a Vanilla [Ice] Beatdown. I like doing different things when I’m on Q, so I thought to myself that we work out in a parking lot and a parking lot has parking lines painted on it, and sometimes some of the parking lot lines get utilized for certain routines (i.e. Burpee Broadjump, Pain’t the Lines) but have all of the parking lot lines ever been used in 1 workout? I didn’t think so . . .and that is how today’s beatdown materialized. Once the Weinke was complete, the title was easily inspired by Grand Master Flash.

As I counted the total number of lines in all of the lots, a car pulled along side me in the back lot. A vaguely familiar face asked, “Do you still have workouts here?”

I thought the Pax was down range because this is BIG Monday at BombSquad!! And everyone who’s anyone, knows this is the most exciting beatdown of the week!!

I directed him to park out front. After counting a few more lines, I walked back to the Shovel Flag Lot and to my surprise the only cars in the lot were mine and “the DR Pax”. Not even Sunshine, who had Shovel Flag duty b/c Beefsteak was out of town, was there!

No worries, there is usually a flurry of activity right before we begin each day, so there was still time for the others to arrive.

As the 1-minute warning approached, 2 more cars arrive (Sunshine & ERC). The last minute passed quickly but no one else posted. There was a hint of rain but nothing that would have kept the regulars away today. It was apparently just an off day.

I introduced myself to the “DR Pax” to find out he wasn’t DR at all but was a Kotter who according to One Call forgot where the Ruckers were meeting today. This Pax was none other than Turn&Cough!!

We lined up with our backs towards Carolina Forest Blvd, facing the white fence across the width of the Large Parking Lot which was divided into 3 sections by 2 orange cones. Pax were instructed that we would be doing 3 different sets exercises across the parking lot.

Line up: Lung Walk to each white line with a JumpSquat at each line until we reached the eastside of the lot. . . 1 Final Mosey around the AO
