AO: BombSquad

Conditions: 48 degrees, perfect

Got a text from Humpback a few days ago asking if I could switch Q’s with him. He would take my Catapult Q on Tuesday if I could take today’s Q at BombSquad.  After much deliberation (about 2 minutes), I let The Camel know that I would not only take today’s Q, but he did not have to go tit-for-tat & take my Tuesday Q at Catapult. After all, I was really lookin forward to The Catapult since I haven’t Q’ed there in many moons. So I got my mind right to Q BombSquad & Catapult back to back.

When I arrived at the AO, Beefsteak & Mrs Doubtfire were moving about by the Shovel Flag, then I saw CrossStitch emerge from the shadows, & as I stepped out of my ride, I was pleasantly surprised to see Hamburglar entering the Gloom, too. (He’s been nursing a nagging foot injury which really sucks because we all need his energy & presences at the beatdowns). ERC arrived on time as YHC announced the 1 minute warning. Rounding out our merry band of Pax was Doughboy, whose been consistently posting since his FNG debut. As Hamburglar & I walked to the shovel flag he let me know that he got a shout out from Humpback last night and assumed that he was Qing. I was a bit hurt by this revelation and had to wipe the slightest of slight tears from my eye.

I thought alot about this Q & didn’t want to just rinse and repeat yesterday’s beatdown so I brought back some timeless classic routines that would not only work our upper bodies but also put a fire in our legs.

Note: After we circled the AO with our pavers, there  was a hint of burning asphalt in the air & some beautiful white trails laid down on the newly sealed blacktop evidencing our hard work.
