Workout Date:

Kitten, Cheetah (2.0), Rousey, and GI Joe (FNG)

The Thang:

It was a beautiful day for a workout when Cheetah and I pulled into the PitStop. The only problem: no PAX. We tried to EH a few guys to no avail. At 7:30, no one was there, so Cheetah and I started getting back into the car to head home.

But then, Rousey came walking into the parking lot, and suddenly, we were ready for a workout! Since no one had signed up on the Q sheet, we split the Q up three ways, with each PAX leading about 15 minutes apiece.

Cheetah started off his mini-VQ with:

20 ssh ic

10 arm circles ic (forward and reverse)

20 ttt ic

Mosey 1 lap around the parking lot in the shape of a figure-8

10 sit-ups oyo

5 calf raises oyo

25 lunges oyo

20 iw ic

(Not bad for a 6-year-old!)

Next, Rousey led 10 minutes of “Pick your pain”:

2:30 wall sit

2:30 plank

0:30 ssh (Cheetah’s suggestion)

4:30 sit-ups amrap

At this point an FNG came out of the shelter and we all started trying to EH him throughout Kitten’s closing Dora routine. He was waiting for work and couldn’t get dirty, so he sat out the first two parts of the Dora, but he joined us for the squats!

100 merkins

200 flutters

About 150 squats before time ran out

At 8:15, time was called. Mike (the FNG) stuck around as we did announcements and prayers. He wants to come back out with us in future weeks. He used to be in the Army, so we gave him the name GI Joe. We prayed for some situations he and Rousey are facing at work, and then we all went our separate ways. Come on out next Saturday to support GI Joe as he tries to get into F3 regularly!
