I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter Weekend and Happy Masters Week!

My M was feeling under the weather this weekend so Saturday night we were inside watching YouTube with the 2.0 and I came across a Crossfit Games documentary.  The guy in charge of the Crossfit Games seemed like a real sadist and kept saying things like “No one wants to do cardio right after doing some heavy lifting because you’re heart rate is already jacked up and it hurts.” As I’m watching the event, sure enough, all these stud athletes are absolutely torched after the event and I thought to myself “This is perfect for Elevation Monday.”

Headgear, Sade, Castaway and I got there at 4:30 with the intentions of doing a PFT.  However, my body decided it was time to evacuate the bowels in anticipation of the workout.  I had ridden with Castaway so he took me on a quick excursion while Headgear and Sade did the PFT.  We get back at 4:45 and Sade and Headgear were just finishing (Headgear finished, I think Sade may have cut his a couple laps short).  So we went out on the track and did a mile ruck to warm up.

Crossfit Sadist:  “When you force people to do an exercise they have never done before with an elevated heart rate you get to see who the real badasses are.”  Needless to say, I was surrounded by badasses this morning.

Bunny Hop = Stand on the bottom bleacher.  Hop to the next bleacher up.  Repeat until you get to the top.
