A little delayed but finally my VBackblast.

The Thang:

Great day for a workout. 70 deg with a steady Rain.

I arrived in the gloom. Hoping for no thunderstorms. Rousey pulled in and immediately began prepping his car for being drenched post workout. We both stayed in our vehicles until Quaker arrived.  We then embraced the rain as our part of our beatdown for the day.

One minute warning and disclaimer.

20 SSH
5 Burpees
20 Tempo squats
5 Burpees
20 Merkins
20 Reverse

Mozy to the parking lot. Paint the lines to get completely wet and the blood flowing.

Gymnastics Mobility work ensued.
Bear Crawls thru puddles
Table walks (crab without the saggy butt)
Frog hops
Monkey hops

Leg day begins!
20 reps then mozy across the parking lot and back
Side Lunges
Single leg deadlifts
Cossack squats (squat to the side)
Jump squats

PAX choice
Rousey – Repeat deadlifts
Quaker – Prisoner squats

Saved by the halfway bell!

Mozy over to the baseball field in search of some good grass for our Fit Test.

100 Merkins
100 Big boys
100 Squats
100 yard dash

10 rounds of 10 reps each exercise.  OYO.

Success! PAX completed the You vs You test in fine form or modified as necessary. El Red Cardo completed an eleventh bonus round!

The Weak Gain Strength

Sometimes I and all men feel very self sufficient.  We are self made and don’t need any help.  We keep our problems to ourselves.  We don’t even ask God for help.  But why would we need a Savior if we could save ourselves.  Let His strength make up for your weakness!

II Cor 12:9  But He said, “My Grace is sufficient for you, My power is made perfect in weakness”
