YHC attended Jar Jar’s (DR from Columbia) beatdown yesterday at Timeshare and was introduced to the “Welsh Dragon”. I loved it so much, I just had to put it into my Wienke for the Pax at BombSquad today. #YourWelcome. The Dragon would take up about 1/3 of the beatdown so YHC brainstormed about what other routines would compliment the Dragon. Since a Dragon is a mythical monster, YHC thought that a “monster” theme was in order for the day. I considered Godzilla, I considered the Hydra, but neither one resonated with me.  Then the Loch Ness Monster popping into my head & I couldn’t shake it. ‘Loch’ rhymes with ‘Block’ and a new routine was born!

As YHC approached the AO, a few drops of rain hit the windshield, no big deal, however, the rain continued to increase as I near and by the time I arrived the rain was pelting the windshield with a steady down pour. This would be perfect conditions for the beatdown . . . its been a long time that we actually stayed out in the rain (usually we modify & end up under the porch at the front of the church). Every good monster movie occurs on a deary, rainy day and so should a ‘monster’ beatdown!

As I stepped out into the wet stuff, I threw the Pax a bit of misdirection and told them to meet me under the porch. Rubber even suggested that this morning would be a perfect time for some fellowship at The Waffle House.  Read on to find out what was lurking in the Gloom and whether or not the porch protected us from the monsters!
