The Thang:

AO: Timeshare

Conditions: Awesome.  63 degrees. Breezy and 96% humidity but the breeze kept it feeling great.

4 PAX started off at 0454 for a 4 mile ruck North on Ocean Blvd and back to the AO.  Bling, Cubbie, Quicksand and YHC moved quickly and kept a pace just under 15min per mile.  The “gold standard” for my Joe Baker training (For the HTL) would have been 5 miles in 60 minutes but YHC was happy to have company on this ruck and these guys aren’t training for an HTL though they did keep a great pace and push me.  Getting back to the AO and Viagra is ready to go.  We don’t see any other PAX so let’s go.

YHC gave the PAX a choice at this point between hopping fences and doing pull-ups and step ups.  Viagra spoke up quickly and saved his fellow PAX from having to hop fences so we were off to the park!

First pull up bar – 10 pull ups each (on your own or assisted) while the rest of the PAX do squats while waiting on you.

Mosey to the monkey bars – Each PAX will hang 30 seconds while the other PAX lunge in place.

Mosey to the rings.  10 pull ups each (OYO or assisted) while the rest of the PAX hold Al Gore

Mosey to the large pavilion.

Initially planned on a Dora but with 5 PAX we modified.   Two PAX would stay at the pavilion, one doing step ups and the other doing Merkins until the other three PAX would run to the tennis courts and back. We would rotate through allowing each PAX a turn at the step ups and Merkins.

Mosey to the “yoga mat”

12 Minutes of stretching and yoga – Quicksand reminded us of proper breathing techniques here which help make these stretches more powerful.

Feeling good now, we moseyed back for COT.
