We at Warthog were spoiled with the Iron Pax Challenge last month taking up 4 automatic Tuesdays so YHC was slacking and didn’t completely fill the Q sheet for October. That means that this open date had to be filled by YHC. No worries, mini-marathon is coming up with weekend with a few fellow Warthog #HIM planning on hitting the pavement so YHC had a plan in mind. Same day, YHC scrolled across the FB page of fellow GRT from a recent GORUCK event and noticed his planned workout for Team Ninja the next day started and ended with what YHC had planned for. Box Breathing and Warrior Yoga. The core of the workout was intended to smoke the legs so YHC knew he couldn’t copy completely but if a fellow GRT was of the same mindset across the country, this had to be good…right?
YHC pre-ran with Franklin, Hamburglar, and Disconnect. We started up Farrow and noticed Valvano pulling in 3 minutes late so we went back for him only to find a parked truck. He was already at the lake getting his miles in so we made our way to the lake and continued our run for 2.55 miles never actually catching up with Valvano. Back to the shovel flag in time to start into the mumble chatter and get after a beatdown…and the mumble chatter started strong this morning. YHC was pumped to see recent FNGs Pothole and Magnum pull into the lot. Backdraft was back too…is he a regular at Warthog now?

But mini-marathon is Sunday so we won’t be doing that.
