The Thang:

Conditions: Rain on and off in 50s — soggy morning.  YHC used FiA’s shelter for this morning’s beatdown.  They being the smarter gender took their workout into the deck — lol!

YHC (QIC)’s monthly trek (outside of his normal Saturday AO) to Q and/or post…and so it was honor to be able lead the #HIM at F3 GrandStrand’s “flagship” #Warthog (WH) this morning!  Only me and Karma at first, then Spinal Tap…and on 2 wheels with the unmistakable Tacoma with Vols sticker came Rocky Top!

Good morning, abbreviated disclaimer, #mumblechatter, typical F3GS warmups and it went like this… 

“Stacked” Deck O’ Death

*Pax took turns picking 3 cards whereby the exercises were done in groups of 3s; RnR until deck was completed. 

  1. Hearts: Hand Release Merkins.
  2. Diamonds: Scorpion Dry Docks.
  3. Clubs: Burpees.
  4. Spades: Squats.
  5. Aces: 4 laps around the circle by the shelter.
  6. Jokers: Qs choice.  1st one: 50 partner assisted BBSU.  2nd one: 50 picnic bench Step ups.

Deck completed at 0750.  Back to SF.

Praise reports and prayer requests (spoken and unspoken)

NMMS 1: Strong work today at WH!  Tough body weight exercises combined with the beneficial “muscle confusion” that a DoD brings was challenging!  3 at Coffeteria.

NMMS 2: QIC noticed that the last 3 cards of the deck were like 2 Squats, 2 SDD and 4 HRM — anticlimactic!  So, what’s a good Q to do, but “stack it” replacing the last 3 with higher number clubs (yes Burpees!) 38!!  YHC thought it a pro move while the rest were not appreciative!  Karma was never told the truth.
