Conditions: 43 Degrees; light breeze; Perfect
5:14:45 – 15 Second Warning
5:15 – Brief Disclaimer given as exercise began.
YHC came in hot to the Plank with 30 seconds to spare (according to my watch) only to find the PAX taking a Capri Run around the track. They were on the far side of the track as YHC announced the 15 second warning to myself.
As the PAX arrived back at the virtual Shovel Flag (Thanks Tiny Dancer) we circled up for a more than adequate disclaimer as we began SSHs. There was a little bit of Mumble Chatter concerning YHC’s nearly late arrive, but that would soon be quashed during the ensuing beatdown. The jovial jostling quickly turned to grunts and groans.
Most PAX (including YHC) probably/secretly wished that I had not posted at all because of the pain quotient inflicted on us this brisk morning. In addition to the pain, the clock seemed to be moving at ½ speed during the beatdown. Everyone longed for time to be called, but the clock would not cooperate!! Read on to see what went down at the Plank!
COP: 20 SSH IC; 20 Imperial Walkers IC; 15 TTT IC; 15 Windmills IC; 15 Tempo Squats IC; 22 Merkins; 15 LBAC IC; 13 LBAC in reverse IC.

At this point YHC was ready to call it a day, but there was still 10 minutes left on the clock! As YHC began to lead the PAX back to the 50 yd line to circle up for some extended stretching, Sunshine inadvertently mentioned something about ‘steps’.
YHC mistakenly thought that Sunshine wanted to do more Bleacher Steps, so off we ran for 1 more round of Bleachers (4X) #RealCrowdPleaser
After the bleachers there was still a few ticks left on the clock!!

YHC told everyone to recover, but Hottub pointed out that there was still 1 minute left. Not wanting to be short changed, Hottub strongly suggested we finish with 10 more Burpees!! Heck Yeah!!

NMMS: Strong work by everyone. Hottub & Sunshine pre-ran to the workout from Hottub’s house (about 1 mile) than grudgingly ran back after the beatdown. CrossStitch nursing a bad hip HC’d yesterday and is a man of his word pushing hard today but also graciously picking of the six. Jedah was in shorts and is faster than he looks (maybe in an effort to stay warm)! ERC crushed the bleachers. Billy Banks being just a youngster even worked up a sweat, while Castaway & Tiny Dancer cruised through the beatdown effortlessly; Brown Bag gave no quarters to his aching back. All had fun (I think) and all definitely got better. YHC truly appreciates each one of these men . . . it was an honor to lead.
Over & Out!
