The Thang:

5 F3 Grandstrand Pax shook our selves free of the #fartsack prior to 0400 so we could meet up at #theRiviera for a #clowncar mission. With our sites set on F3Manning, we piled into Grass Patch’s spacious gas wagon for an auto-mosey out of town. Despite the fog’s best effort to slow our roll, we made it to the TA truck stop around 0600 to inspect their burgeoning collection of fitness wear and gadgets. Truckers need a workout too. Haven’t you seen Over The Top?

After depositing the evening’s beverages into the Santee water system we made our way over to the Manning Saturday AO around quarter after. We inspected the grounds, placed the cones, plotted the routines and shot the bull until the headlights of our FNG blazed through the fog. FNG Jake at least made it to the AO before his local compatriots.

With only a few minutes to spare the locals began to file into the parking lot boasting of high expectations of the visiting Pax.

The One Minute Warning was issued.

Mosey over to the #shovelflag and line up in a circle.

A Word was shared by YHC.

Romans 15:4 “For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.”

To paraphrase the COT– “Men we stand on the shoulders of the people who have gone before us. Everything from the Word that offers us encouragement, to the deeds of our ancetors, to those that have planted the F3 flag, to the man beside you. We draw hope and encouragement from these things. F3 should be a beacon of hope to every man, woman and child. If a man comes to F3 and does not find hope, we have missed the mark. If anyone leaves with more discouragement than hope, we have failed to be authentic to our purpose. May all we do bring hope and light into the darkness that lurks about our world. Leadership matters. We see it all around. From little ambitious rocket men on the other side of the world slinging nukes to our local shores and towns…leadership matters. When there is no positive male community leadership we all suffer for it. Be the hope that our world needs. Be the men who bring about hope and encouragment.”

On behalf of the men of F3GrandStrand, YHC would like to thank F3Manning for inviting us to bring them their fourth week launch Q, aka the #SnotWoggler. These men are did well and they strove hard to complete the reps. We hope that we found the right balance of pushing you to that line without leaving anyone behind. We saw some great effort out there this morning and that is what counts. Keep up the work men. There were several #respects given at the Name-o-Rama. YHC has seen younger men do less with less enthusiasm. Strive on and proceed with integrity. Respect was earned.
