First Village Q & Beer

Conditions– High 50s and Pleasant!!

I woke up earlier than normal and got down to the AO to prep and setup the beer kegs for the BEER BOMBS beat-down on the Y soccer field for my first Village Q. I started the jams to which I got many comments on my choice of playlist 🙂

I gave the one minute warning and all 9 of us circled to start the COP.

F3 GS mission was stated and disclaimer was given.

We all moseyed over to the soccer field. I jammed the workout tunes and presented everyone with the overview of the Beer BOMBS routine, which was also taped on every other beer kegs ready to go. We all partnered up, and I had the privilege of partnered with my fellow Catapulter, Kiwi. The time was 5:30am and I indicated that we would working hard to complete the following series of exercises with the kegs:

B= big boys w/ keg- 50 while other partner runs across soccer field

O= overhead press w/ keg- 100 while other partner runs across soccer field

M= mountain climbers w/ keg (2 count)- 150 while other partner runs across parking lot

B= bi-cep curls- 200 w/ keg while other partner runs across soccer field (OUCH!!- my arms were smoked!!)

S= squats- 250 w/ keg while other partner runs across soccer field

At 5:50a.m,. I gave instructions for each PAX to make their way back to the COT area via mosey.

40 Flutters IC

15 LBCs IC-  Buffet led exercise

20 shoulder taps- Boxcar led exercise

20 Freddie Mercurys IC

15- ankle taps- ERC led exercise
