The Thang:

Conditions: Mid 70’s and high humidity

1 minute warning and disclaimer provided.

Warm up – SSH, plank jacks, windmill, tempo squats, little baby arm circles, over head claps, reverse little baby arm circles, cherry pickers, and imperial walkers.

Workout –

Mosey over to the second summit of Mount Myrtle.

Round 1: Group work running up and over Mount Myrtle performing burpees on each side of the mountain starting with 7, then 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1. We held planks on all even numbers to keep the group together.

Round 2: Same as above but this time working down from 7 lunges each leg and holding 6 inches at the end of each even count.

Mosey to picnic tables for abs and chest workout.

Crazy 8’s: Partner workout working up from 1 to 8 and back down to 1 performing hand release merkins. Each partner completes each count.

Group ab workout with 25 flutter kicks, 25 big boys, and 25 LBCs holding wall squats for a minimum of 30 seconds. We then worked back through with 50 flutter kicks, 50 American hammers, and 50LBCs and held wall squats for a minimum of 30 seconds.

Crazy 4’s: same as above but working up to and down from 4.

22 step ups each leg and mosey back to the starting point.

Circle of trust to discuss announcements (Geno mentioned an upcoming Coastal Carolina game) and lift up prayers.
