I awoke to pouring rain, and it being a Monday with this weather, was wondering who would show.  I pulled into the lot to see a surprise Jeep of our very own OG Early Bird!!!  Coming back to #Kotters in the rain!  We sat in our cars as the rain beat down, texting each other like high schoolers on a date instead of getting out and talking.  #RainProblems

At 0528 it was just us 2, and I was thinking of alternatives to what I had planned.  Then Mudslide (from Vegas) and Buffett (from the flu) came rolling in and we were 4.  Everyone else #fartsacked.  Ridiculous.

Disclaimer

We moseyed to the awnings so as to stay kinda dry.  Everyone was sweating and stripping layers early on, but we didn’t get hit with rain for very long #WhyIsSweatAnyBetter?

The THANG
I stole the idea in set #1 from another BB I had read, and decided to use it for the whole beatdown.  Kinda Tabata; kinda HIIT, but different

Instructions given: Complete each round as fast as possible inside of 30 seconds.  If you complete a round in 20 seconds, you have 10 seconds rest before proceeding to the next round.  If you take all 30 seconds, you ain’t getting much rest.  Etc.  There will be 15 Rounds
Exercise set #1
Complete 5 Burpees
For those counting that was 75 burpees in 7.5 minutes
Rest time – we planked and did wall sits as rest

Exercise set #2
5 Hand Release Merkins
5 LBC’s
5 Air Squats
Rest time – we planked and did wall sits as rest

Threw in another set of Climb the pole calf raises 25 OYO for each calf

Exercise set #3
1 Burpee
2 Turkish Get ups – 1 with each arm/side
Rest time – we planked; then put our feet on the wall and planked some more; then moved em higher and planked some more.  Then we did wall sits and then sunk lower to do more wall sits

Exercise set #4
5 Diamond Merkins
5 BBSU’s
5 Air Squats

Mosey back to SF and Plank for 30 seconds
