1 Minute Warning

8 PAX took their DRP this a.m. and came to the Hulk excited to get some miles under our feet. Handy & Bobsled ran in from parts unknown, Sampling made the trek from Loris, and the remaining PAX arrived from various locations around Carolina Forest. Rubber arrived just under the gun but was raring to get after it! Everyone was excited to soak in the spring like temperatures.

7 out the 8 PAX are in full P200 mode! Where are our fellow P200 PAX?? (hopefully doing some individual training & not getting to bulky). Once again, there was some peer pressure applied to Kitten to join the team! Maybe he will, maybe he won’t, but it sure would be nice to have those feline feet on the team!!#doit!

Handy was the pace car and pushed his fellow PAX but didn’t leave us in the dust as he certainly could have and Bobsled hung with the rear PAX for the first leg of our journey even though he too could have easily lapped us as well!¬†Sampling, Sunshine, & Kitten are pure runners. Rubber, Skidmark, and Quaker keep getting better each week. Our fearless AOQ, Hottub, was DR for a 2nd week. He was out of sight but not out of mind. No doubt he got his miles in this week, too!!

We all followed the same route as the last 2 weeks which involved Mt. Zeb, the Bark Park, 63rd avenue, and Marina Parkway. This week, however, we made it to the 2nd turnabout on Marina Pkwy thanks to our increased pace.

Although one or two of us lagged behind during the return trip, no man was left behind. PAX took turns looping back and picking up the Six. We all had a good push up the bridge and kicked it up another notch on the downside before our 100 yrd sprint into home.

Handy lead us in prayer  . . . a couple of PAX paid there registration fee for the P200 because Hottub apparently does want to pick up the entire tab for some reason!

5.2 miles logged . . .9 minute pace

As the rest of the PAX drove off, Handy and Bobsled ran back into the gloom for extra credit. #ISI
