The Thang:

Pulled up to an empty parking lot – unusual for BombSquad on a Saturday.  Thankfully War Eagle showed up a minute later.  We concurred that a beatdown was in order, especially since we both had coffee and weren’t going back to bed at this point.  There was no Q for the day so we agreed to take turns leading.

Conditions:  Around 70 and medium humidity.

Missed the 1 minute warning, but War Eagle gave the disclaimer and we began with an off the cuff workout.

COP:  15 SSH IC, 20 Imp Walker IC, 15 TTT IC, 15 Windmill IC, 15 LBAC Forward IC, 15 Reverse IC, 15 Cherry Picker IC

I grabbed a pallet and War Eagle grabbed a 5 gallon paint bucket.  Let’s make this a real beatdown!

We took turns pushing the pallet down to the end of the big parking lot and back while the other PAX carried the bucket.  Along the way we made several stops alternating upper and lower body exercises as follows:

  • 10 Burpees
  • 25 Jump Squats
  • 20 Incline Merkins
  • 25 Squats
  • 20 Decline Merkins (Derkins)
  • 30 Lunges
  • 20 Curls with paint bucket while other PAX did OH Air Press
  • 25 Prisoner Squats
  • 20 Curls with paint bucket while other PAX did OH Air Press
  • 25 Backward Lunges
  • Clock Merkin on pallet with 5 Merkins at 12, 3, 6, & 9
  • 25 Sumo Squats
  • Jack Webb (up to 7/28)

Happily returned the pallet and paint bucket!

Moseyed to steps at concession stand for Calves and Abs

40 Calf Raises while other PAX did 40 LBCs.  Switch so did both.  Lap around baseball field.

Same but 30 & 30 with lap around baseball field.

Same but 20 & 20 with lap around baseball field.

Same but 10 & 10 with mosey back to shovel flag.

TIME!

War Eagle had to scoot to work and I headed to The Pittstop for a Papa Smurf beatdown.
