MOSEY AROUND AO AND LOOP THE SOCCER FIELD

YHC arrived at 0500 to set up the beatdown for todays PAX. I wanted to layout something new, something that I had not done before or remember anyone else doing so as to keep the pax on the edge. I decided to stay away from the parking lot and make our arena the organic grassy field today.

The Beatdown:

7 stations were set up, each placed in front of a soccer goal. The pax would complete 20 reps at each station then run to the next station(goal) across the field to create a zigzag pattern all the way down to the other end. The last step would be to plank at the end.

Goal 1 : 20 squats

Goal 2: 20 Car. Drydocks

Goal 3: 20 Big Boys

Goal 4: 20 Plank Jacks

Goal 5: Squat Jumps

Goal 6: Mt. Climbers

Goal 7: 20 Merkins

Someone commented about only doing single count Mt. Climbers and I remarked that they would understand soon. We made it to the end of the field and did a standing 10 count. Time for rinse & repeat but we doubled the count to 40 reps. The pace slowed for everyone but Beefsteak who appeared to be gliding across the field. At the end of this round I said rinse and repeat one more time. Immediately a balk came from one of the DR guys about not being able to do another round at 60 reps.( After all this was vacation). I calmed his fears and said this would be a cool down with only 5 reps each.

After the last round we moseyed to the coupon pile for a few rounds of curls and shoulder shrugs then back to the COT for a little Mary.

We ended with a prayer of thanksgiving for health,safety, & guidance among other things as we put our trust in the One True God and His Son Jesus Christ.

4 PAX stayed around for QSource. This provides us with real goals to make us better men. Today’s topic dealt with ” Giving and receiving Correction”
