The Thang:

Beautiful morning for a workout. Five of us (Kitten, Quaker, Handy Manny, Crankbait, and Sunshine) ran from the Hulk to the Village. Six other PAX greeted us there. 1-minute warning and disclaimer were given.

COP:

20 ssh ic

20 ttt ic

20 imperial walkers ic

20 arm circles ic, forward and reverse

10 hand release merkins oyo

The thang:

Following our COP, we moseyed in a very roundabout way to the field, where no sprinklers were on. We partnered up and did some 321 A-rod (300 squats, 200 big boys, and 100 merkins; 1 partner exercises, the other runs backwards to the line and back).

After a mosey to the playground, we continued with our partners in another Dora-style routine: 100 step-ups, 200 dips, 300 2-count flutter kicks. While one partner exercised, the other bear crawled from the playground to the end of the Brittain center and then ran the rest of the way around the building back to the playground.

After a mosey back to the flag, we had just enough time to conclude the workout with 4 minutes of tabata burpees.

We named our FNG “Sleepless.” He’s from Seattle and has kids. The name fits.

Announcements: Continue to bring toys for Operation Sweet Tooth. Those are going to the children’s hospital at Grand Strand. Sign up for the Christmas party on Dec. 9.

We prayed for an acquaintance of Buffett who recently lost a son. Prayers also for Skidmarks and his dad. After our prayer, 6 PAX departed to vehicles, while the other 5 of us ran the flag back to the Hulk.

Great turnout! Let’s keep those numbers up. Keep inviting FNG’s and Kotters.
