Pulled up this morning to the flag already posted and Handy staying warm in his truck. Sunshine was next to pull up and we all looked at each from our warm vehicles. Finally, Handy exited prompted Sunshine and YHC to do the same. Then other men pulled in and we all commented on how comfortable the temperature was.

The Thang
4 Rounds of Interval training, 1 minute of work (amrap exercises), 30 seconds of rest, 1 minute of rest between rounds.

Round 1: Burpees, Squats, Merkins, LBCs
Round 2: Mtn. Climbers, Side lunges, CDDs, American Hammers

During the rest between rounds 2 and 3, YHC reminded PAX of the 1st F email sent out at the start of year. We’re one month into 2018 so it’s a great time to reflect on the goals you’ve set and make sure you’re on track to accomplish them. If you aren’t on track, get it right and crush these next 11 months. If you haven’t set goals yet, do it now and crush them during 2018.
Sunshine volunteered his goal of 250 workouts this year. Let’s hold him accountable now!

Round 3: SSH, Reverse Lunges, Dips, Flutters
Round 4: Step ups, Prisoner squats, Peter Parker merkins (crowd favorite), Big Boy situps (Skidmark’s favorite, its how he earned his namesake before we knew that’s why we named him Skidmark)

Finished up the interval workout with a quick mention of all the hard work we accomplished by breaking things up into one minute intervals. Pointed out that we should do the same with goals we set and get them accomplished!

Mosey back to the flag, hold plank for 2 minutes.

It had been a while since I’d Q’ed at BombSquad and it was great to be back. Awesome to meet Flatliner and see Lederhosen and Skimmer in the gloom for the first time in a while for YHC. Hope all the PAX have set some goals and are working hard to accomplish them!

Also, looks like Big Wheelz is a genius and had a really awesome idea for a Q today.
