Been a long while since I Q’d WaveRucker but #YOP has been keeping after it, and home workouts, and we had 3 awesome Quarantine Rucks, so Hoser asked for a Q, and I figured I could remember my way around this stuff….hope so.  Bling and Boxcar were HC’s for our carpool.  Geno, as usual, sat out #WaveRucker.  Pick Bling up.  Great chatter, a lovely gift, and the windows steamed up quick!!!  Well, it was very humid, and the AC was cranking, so when the door opened…sheesh what did y’all think caused it!?  We grabbed Boxcar, who had 2 beers.  Weird right?  3 guys, 2 beers.  Now, I rarely drink, but I mean, that’s kinda mean.  A cup of coffee?  A coupon for a free pizza?  Something!!  LOL…Bling puts the beer away for later.  Crack…from the back seat.  Pre-workout beverage!!

I called for sandbags.  We had 7 of em and 8 PAX.  Ok..pretty good since it was Little Caesar’s 1st time rucking, so we could take it easy on him, a little bit.

So I had a plan that was insane and brutal..and we mostly stuck to it, but did modify some as we wanted to keep everyone together.  We rucked up, grabbed the sandbags and went from parking lot to bridge.  Dropped sandbags.

Ruck the rest of the way around to the sandbags – PT Time

Exercises (10 reps of each):

Ground to Shoulder
Sandbag Clusters (Cluster = Clean + Thruster)
Merkins on bag
Triple Crush – whines heard – with the 60?  Yes.  We are men.

½ way around again to the bridge
I knew Bling would throw a coup so I gave PAX options:
Crab walk halfway over rather than all the way over or lunge or do whatever the heck you want!
At halfway point, farmer walk right arm to other side
Bear crawl halfway over rather than all the way over or lunge or do whatever the heck you want!
At halfway point, farmer walk left arm to other side
Ruck the rest of the way around to the sandbags –

PT Time again – rinse and repeat other than
Triple crush – we turned that into 10 solid curls, 15 OH press shoulder to shoulder, 10 tricep extensions with each arm

This is where we did some major modifications
Grab the 60’s (5) and go to bridge – far side
Lunge walk halfway; Toy Soldier rest; OH Hold back

Sandbags again to bridge; switch as needed
Drop all; 4 PAX grabbed 2 rucks and farmer carry there and back while 4 planked.  Flip flop.
Ruck and sandbag up and head to cars; 22 merkins to finish

Man it is humid!  Every year we wonder where the heck this humidity came from!  MB in the summer…ugh…but we will get used to it…someday
– Great work by all, of course expected from our regulars, but strong 1st ruck beatdown for LC and great having Humpback with us!!
– Bling promised us some topless rucking – but we never saw it
– Lombardi better get that painter in gear!
– Valvano has family coming in to town so he’ll take another few weeks off
– Hoser has been the subject of some staunch contract negotiations, but I think we got him coming out Saturday
– Boxcar – time to buy yourself a 60 lb sandbag and stop pretending you are getting a workout with the 40!
