The Thang:

Before embarking on a variety of cat-like exercises, we all warmed up with 20 side straddle hops, 20 arm circles (forward and reverse), and 20 reps of through the tunnel.

To kick off the regular portion of the workout, we began with tabata burpees, followed by a jog to the opposite parking lot. There we completed tabata merkins. Next, we ran four wind sprints between the two parking lots. At this point, most PAX were panting heavily, and there was little talking or meowing for the rest of the workout because none of us had enough oxygen left. Following the wind sprints, we did tabata flutter kicks.

Next came the “fun” part of the workout: We all got down on our little kitty paws and completed the following ladder: bear crawl one parking space, run back to the start, do one burpee; bear crawl two spaces, run back to the start, do two burpees… all the way to ten parking spaces and ten burpees.

As though we had not already been through enough pain at this point, we followed this with tabata dips. We then closed out the workout with an easy jog back to the flag and a round of tabata American hammers.
