Ugh – these are the days that F3 means so much.  Cold, dreary, raining.  SOOOOO easy to #fartsack.  Of course, when you are on Q, you can’t.  But even if you are not, why do it?  Why wake up?  Why get out of the warmth?  Why get wet and cold?  It has been said a ton of times before, but you do it for the man next to you.  You do it for accountability.  You do it to get better and be a #HIM.  You do it because you know someone else will be out there for you, when maybe they didn’t want to get out of bed either.  And that’s how it was for 8 #HIM this morning.  Posting for each other, knowing they would be cold and wet, but knowing others would be there with them and all would get better.   Also, #T-Claps to Handy, Hot Tub, and Quaker for running from The Hulk to the AO, and then running back after the beatdown!

So yesterday, checking the good old Twitter, YHC caught a college football related exchange between High Interest and Early Bird.  And since YHC is watching, always watching (like Roz from Monsters, Inc.), I took the use of the word “critical” by Early Bird to tell him how critical it was for him to post!  Our good friend Ralph Lauren added to the encouragement, by offering up 50 burpees if Early Bird posted!!  And EB did, and there is a video of the #Beast Ralph Lauren cranking out his 50.  #WhateverItTakes

Then it was time to get work done.

We moseyed to the fields, where YHC had set up a baseball diamond of cones.  I explained everything to the men, and Buffett, appearing for round 2 having done this Monday at #BombSquad, asked why the cones were farther away!! #MLBRegulation

We started at home and here was the plan

Bear Crawl to 1st
10 Diamond Merkins

Lunge Walk to 2nd
10 Prisoner Squats

Crab Walk to 3rd
10 Diamond CDD’s

Mosey/Sprint home
SSH’s AMRAP and when the 6 came in, we did 10 IC

Rinse and repeat, but move to “normal” distance rather than the “close distance”
I.E., Merkins, Squats, and CDD’s
Also, round to round, alternate the bear crawls with crawl bears and the crab walks with feet first 1x, then hands 1st next
Same at home

Rinse and repeat, but this time move out to wide distance
Wide Arm Merkins, Sumo Squats, Wide Arm CDD’s
Same at home

A break from this, we Toy Soldier walked each base with 15 BBSU’s at each

Then we rinsed and repeated the 1st 3 cycles, in reverse order – Wide, Regular, Close

Mosey to the picnic tables/playground

2 rounds of:
10 Burpees
20 Derkins
30 Dips
40 Flutters (2-count)
Do Burpees AMRAP on the 6

Mosey back to start
Had time for 3 rounds of 1 minute fun:
In 1 minute, complete 5 Burpees, 5 BBSUs, 5 Merkins
Remainder of your minute: rest, plank, SSH…your choice
Then 5, 10, 10
Then 5, 15, 15
Push hard all the way through!

– Finally found out how Handy is 1st in everything – he skips entire rounds of exercises.  Well, just 1x he forgot to do some CDD’s, but then he smoked us all on everything!
– Buffett has some nice hats, jackets, sneakers, fitted pants, etc. #Stylish
– Since joining a few weeks ago, Skidmark has been killing it!  Great having you in our ranks and I enjoyed our crab walk races.  LOL!  After you get done writing your nasty letter to Ford, start working on that VQ #weinke!!!!!
– Always awesome having our 1st F Q making the rounds and being sure the Q’s are up to par! #HopeIPassed
