The Thang:
Our fearless leader, One Call, was unable to Q this morning due to family obligations so High Interest and YHC let him know that someone would cover this morning’s Beatdown. The Q sheet was filled with one word . . . “Surprise”. This would surely pique the PAX’s curiosity and lead to a solid turnout for the first weekday of Day Light Savings!! The mysterious “Surprise” Q was so effective that we had 2 FNG’s (one local & one from Pittsburgh) and 2 DR brothers for Lake Norman & Charleston! Introductions & Greetings. High Interest arrived and asked, “Do you got this” . . . My response, “Absolutely!” Last night I thought about writing out a Weinke but nothing jumped out to me. So this morning I figured YHC would just go Ol’ School and do my VQ from a 1.5 years ago. You know the one . . .”No Weinke, No Worries”. . . High Interest suggested an 18 anniversary twist (ok we can do that!) . . . some Pain’t the Lines . . . Maybe even some Rock Balboa’s. YHC asked High Interest to make sure the Beatdown remains “FNG Friendly” (keeping Angry Quaker at bay). Stay tuned and find out! Stonehenge then arrived to complete the PAX, that is of course until Varsity came in hot (#betterlatethennever)while the rest of the PAX were doin’ TTT.
