Prayed for the group

Back at the Christmas party in December Sunshine approached me and ask me what day in January worked for me to Q at the Village. The Village is a little inconvenient for me with my home and work location but by putting me on the spot and phrasing the question that way I was on the hook. Shout Out to Sunshine for taking that approach and getting me at the Village for the first time because without that I still wouldn’t have made it there yet.
YHC showed up at the Hulk to meet any runners and as I was just about ready to bail on it Kitten arrived. We quickly got it together and made our way over to the AO. As a guy that grew up playing football a lot I have always liked adding gassers at any time I can, so right after the crazy comeback by Alabama (Rousey we know you Roll Tide) felt like a great time to throw them back in. The sprinting in these gassers make even the most fit guys hate their life for a short while. Once we completed those we were all struggling a bit so I decided to modify the weinke and head back to the parking lot and double up on Mary. Normally after a beatdown and a pre-run I am pretty well spent and ready to be done. However, knowing that if you don’t pick up the pace and get back to your car 1.5 miles away or you are going to be late makes the post run a bit more interesting than the pre-run. The pre and post run option at the Village is a great addition and if you haven’t tried it you need to get out there.
