Bling, Hoser, Lombardi, Geno, Billboard, Varsity, Bubbles, Weedeater, Quarantine, Bam Bam, Penelope, OneCall (QIC)

The Thang:

72.  Started fine.  Turned to rain 10 minutes in and remained steady throughout.

YHC pulled in to see 4 vehicles.  3 I recognized as Bling, Hoser and Lombardi hitting a pre-ruck.  1 I didn’t.  It turned out to be Bam Bam!  He was there early!  Perculating I suppose for his Elvis trip pre-beatdown.  Billboard pulled in and we got to visit a while.  Weedeater came in a different truck and he was planning a yard work Q in the future.  Then Quarantine visiting us all week.  Varsity and Bubbles were next, with Geno not too far behind. As it looked like that was going to be it, we heard the loud engine roar of none other than Penelope.

The DISCLAIMER was given.  Some were offended by the statement – if you only do half reps, then do double the amount.  I assume those that were offended were those that were/are the offenders.  YHC was simply giving them their modification early on rather than leaving it up to them to try to figure out when they were tired.  #GoodLeadership

There were slow and easy, so

22 Merkins – single count

TTT x 15 IC
10 burpees OYO (Since TTT is really a stretch)
Mosey to the grass close by
Flutters x 15 IC
10 Burpees OYO

Mosey to the far parking lot
There are 4 corners
Do 5 Burpees at each of them; mosey between corners
Regroup in plank. 10 count in plank. More plank.

Starting at corner 1, do 20 Merkins/20 Squats
Run to next corner, do 15 Merkins/15 Squats
Next corner, 10 Merkins/10 Squats
Next corner, 5 Merkins/5 Squats
Back to beginning corner, 5 Merkins/5 Squats
Next corner, 10 Merkins/10 Squats
Next corner, 15 Merkins/15 Squats
Final corner 20 Merkins/20 Squats
Either AMRAP Flutters and/or pick up 6
Walk back to starting corner as 10 count

Rinse and repeat the 4 corners with 5 burpees at each
Regroup in plank. 10 count in plank. More plank. Get your breath under control

Next was to be another round of the down and up escalator/descalator/whatever.
This time with Lunges (count each leg) and Carolina Dry Docks
So we started with 20 and 20, and rounding (can you round a corner?) the corners – 15/15, 10/10, 5/5, back to 5/5, 10/10, 15/15, and finally 20/20
Either AMRAP Flutters and/or pick up 6 and/or plank
Walk back to starting corner as 10 count

We then had just enough time to finish with
10 burpees
Next corner – 10 Turkish Get ups
[Bubbles loved these as they made sure every inch of our bodies were saturated]
Next corner – 10 burpees
Final corner – 10 Turkish Get ups

Prayer requests upspoken

– Strong work today. This was not an easy one. Billboard wanted to puke. So did YHC.
– Varsity and Bubbles lead the PAX, as usual. We need a stretching Q to help Bubbles get his knees bent more than 4 degrees #Tight
– T-Claps to Varsity for picking up the 6 each time and for his constant encouragement throughout
– Varsity did tell everyone that they are the only one counting their reps. Do them all. Varsity – this was a fib. I was counting everyone’s reps. And so were you!!!
– 105 burpees this morning, well for most of you.
– Bling asked if there was a burpee challenge going on. Yeah. Why the heck else would we do so many!!!
– Bam Bam joined us just a few short weeks ago and is killing it. He and Billboard wondered where Boom Boom was!
– I warned the pre-ruckers this was gonna be a hard one. They still pre-rucked. T-Claps
– Isn’t Weedeater fast as heck? Deceivingly so as tall and thick as he is. #SecretRunner
– Quarantine has been posting all week while DR – great having you with us!!
– Penelope – the website is up and AWESOME. Now, post with us all the time!!!
– Geno was quietly doing extra burpees. He must be behind in the #BurpeeChallenge

– Join Billboard and whoever from 6-6:55 on Saturdays before Warthog – NOT 5-6 and then sit in your car for an hour like Billboard said
– Friday Kettlebell workout at Warthog – BeachBells – join Wolverine, YHC, Billboard, Mudslide, Valvano, Bling, and other meatheads. Wear a tank top. We have the equipment, but bring a KB if you got one.
