Workout Date:

QIC:
Kitten
PAX:
Kitten, Rubber, El Red Cardo, Beefsteak, Box car, Red Coat, Brown Bag (Respect!), Skimmer
The Thang:
There were five PAX at the Village when I came running into the parking lot. As I gave the one-minute warning, Rubber pulled into the parking lot. Shortly after the disclaimer was given at 5:30, El Red Cardo arrived.
COP:
20 ssh ic
20 ttt ic
20 iw ic
20 arm circles ic (forward and reverse)
20 hand-release merkins oyo
The Thang:
Following a slow mosey to the brick wall by the basketball court, I shared that the day was the anniversary of my grandmother’s death. Since her name was Dora, I informed the PAX we would be honoring her memory by doing a bunch of Dora exercises.
Dora (100 merkins, 200 big boys, 300 squats)
We ran to the picnic tables and switched partners.
Dora (100 dips, 200 flutter kicks, 300 step-ups)
Since everyone blazed through that part of the workout, we had enough time left to line up and do a fairly long Indian run (1.5 laps around the property). We finished the workout with 20 mountain climbers ic and 20 American hammers ic. At 6:15 time was called.
Announcements:
If anyone wants to run the Mini Marathon on October 21, let me (Kitten) know. I’m trying to put together a team of runners to help raise money for an orphanage in Haiti my church is affiliated with. Since I’m not on Twitter, you can reach me at jdharris@umcsc.org.
Prayers:
Rubber’s mom’s eye surgery Tuesday morning; Baby Isaac (member of Beefsteak’s extended family) continues to gain weight and get stronger. Huge praise!
