45 but it got HOT quick!!

Sunshine, Buffett and Crankbait were there with a few to spare and it looked like it may just be the 4 of us, but then Mudslide’s van came rolling in, and with 5, the 1-minute warning was given and then the Disclaimer.

We started moseying to the big baseball field, when a truck we didn’t recognize came rolling up….we wondered who it was, and being the nice guys we are, we waited to see by doing SSH’s for a bit.  We didn’t wanna lose somebody or a FNG if they couldn’t find us….and it wound up being Skimmer!! #Kotters were issued and we finished our mosey, now 6 PAX strong.

We started at home plate and here we go

Bear Crawl to 1st
10 Diamond Merkins

Lunge Walk to 2nd
10 Prisoner Squats

Crab Walk to 3rd
10 Diamond CDD’s

Sprint home
SSH’s AMRAP and when the 6 came in, we did 10 IC

Rinse and repeat, but move to “normal” distance rather than the close distance
[Also, thanks to Mudslide’s awesome idea, alternate the bear crawls with crawl bears and the crab walks with feet first 1x, then hands 1st next]
I.e., Merkins, Squats, and CDD’s

Rinse and repeat, but this time move out to wide distance

A break from this, we Toy Soldier walked each base with 15 BBSU’s at each

Then we rinsed and repeated the 1st 3 cycles

Mosey to the picnic tables

10 Burpees
20 Derkins
30 Dips
40 Flutters (2-count)

Mosey back to the SF
Had time for 4 rounds of:
In 1 minute, complete 5 Burpees, 5 BBSUs, 5 Merkins
Remainder of your minute: rest, plank, SSH…your choice
On the 4th round we stepped it up to 5, 10, and 15

– Mudslide is making 125 lb Atlas stones.  He is also trying to figure out how to make them into kettlebells!

– Swamp Fox Adventure race – March 17, 2018 – get with Hoe Down if you are interested.  The “pros” who have done these are splitting up their teams to put a pro on teams with newbies.  So if you want to check out adventure racing, this is a great time to do it and not have to do it blind
– #WaveRucker will become an official sub-AO – starting on Wednesday, December 13 at #Warthog. 0430-0615. 4 mile either pre or post ruck, with a 45 minute RUCK WOD. Hoser will be AOQ of this!
