The burpee 5K

It was a nice warm, humid summer morning when I ran into the parking lot of the Village. At 5:29, the 1-minute warning was given, followed by the disclaimer at 5:30.
The Thang:
We warmed up by jumping right into our workout with a mosey down the frontage road, across 17 bypass, and past the YMCA to the bottom of the hill that leads to the waterway (about 1 mile).
10 burpees oyo
Sprint to the top of the hill to the bridge (ssh while waiting on the 6).

Alternate between a lunge walk and a bear crawl all the way across the bridge over the waterway.

Mosey down the hill toward the hulk, stopping at the Hwy 31 frontage road (plank on the 6).
10 burpees oyo
Sprint back up to the top of the hill (plank on the 6).
Mosey back to the Village.
All in all, we ran about 3.2 miles, did 50 burpees, and left a lot of sweat on the waterway bridge. Way to go, especially our FNG, Knickerbocker!
